Ways you can help

Tell your friends

The single most important thing you can do to help my campaign is to tell other people about it.  An independent candidate always needs publicity - I need lots of it.

I'd really appreciate it if you could share the link to this site on your blog / Twitter / Facebook / etc.  I would appreciate it even more if you could think of any people you know who would be specifically interested in what I'm trying to achieve, and let them know about it individually.  Finally, if you know anybody who lives in Hackney or Shoreditch, please please send them my link.

I am also asking for donations.  I have raised enough money to pay my registration fee (£500), and I am currently fund-raising towards the cost of my publicity materials.  Specifically, I am asking for donations towards the cost of producing my leaflets for a constituency-wide mail-out, which cost me £960 in total.  Please donate if you can afford to, thank you.

Other ways to help

If you know a friendly journalist that might be interested in covering my campaign, please put me in touch with them!

I have just discovered that I have more than 10,000 spare leaflets, due to printer over-run.  I would really really appreciate anybody volunteering to spend some time handing these out this weekend - May 1st and May 2nd - at any location within my constituency.  I assume the markets and high streets would be the best bet, but I'm open to suggestions.  I know this is a big favour to ask, but it seems a real shame to waste the extra leaflets, and there's no way I can hand out that many working alone.
